Pickling cucumbers in a simple and quick way.

I use this method of pickling cucumbers all the time. It's pretty simple and this is the method my mom and grandmother used.
The main feature of this technique is that it does not require sterilization of either containers or lids.

This is a double fill method. At least that's what my mother called him, and so did I. My mom canned a lot for the winter. Her favorite proverb was the one that says that summer is "reserve", and winter is "podberikha".

Pickled cucumber recipe:


First, wash the cucumbers well.
As greens, you can take currant and cherry leaves, parsley, dill umbrellas, which have an indescribable aroma, as well as garlic. Garlic should be taken with tops, because they will also go into business.


From spices you need bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves.
Prepared containers should be washed well, and the lids should also be washed.


Put spices in prepared jars. Put in each container one bay leaf, several peppercorns, a couple of cloves, one currant and one cherry leaf, garlic, and herbs.
Now bring the water to a boil.

Put the cucumbers in jars and put the herbs, currant leaves and cherries on top again.


Pour cucumbers with boiled water and cover them with lids. Now you need to let them stand for half an hour.


Now pour the water from the cucumber containers back into the saucepan and bring it to a boil again. Add 60 grams of granulated sugar and 4.5 tablespoons of salt to this water. Such proportions are suitable for a three-liter can.


As soon as the solution comes to a boil, add ten grams of vinegar essence, in the absence of which you can add a glass of table vinegar.


Pour the resulting composition into cucumbers, close the lid, turn the jar upside down.


Now you should carefully wrap the jars so that the heat remains for a long time and let stand in this state for 24 hours.


Usually, after this time, the cucumbers are still hot and should be cooled and stored, for example, in the basement.
Now all that remains is to stick or write the date on the lid with a marker.
