How does a plastering robot work

click fraud protection

Probably many have heard that there are robots for plastering. They are not common in our country because of their high cost. As a rule, it is customary to do such types of work by hand using lighthouses. In China, with their huge volumes of construction, they are used more often.

The unit consists of two supports that are fixed between the floor and the ceiling and a container, a tray with a solution, rises between them. Plaster is dosed from it and applied to the wall. It is clear that the robot is plastering the wall with vertical stripes and manually, by the forces of the operator, it is shifted for the next pass.

The principle of application is as follows: along the tape, the plaster solution from the tray is evenly fed to the spatula, which vibrates and thereby the plaster is fixed on the wall. He doesn't need lighthouses. One robot is capable of plastering up to 500 m2 of walls per work shift. To prevent the mixture from slipping, it must be mixed in a certain consistency. Basically, the characteristics of these units are as follows: Application layer thickness: from 3 mm to 30 mm. Tray up to 200 kg. Lift height - up to 4.5 meters. Plastering width in one pass - 80 cm. Power - 2.2 kW, 220 V. There are two vibrators inside. Weight - from 200 kg.

There is one drawback to all such robotic plasterers. They plaster from a height of about 20 cm from the floor, but to the ceiling itself. Those. the lower part must be plastered by hand. Most likely, because of this shortcoming, even large companies are in no hurry to acquire them. You still can't get away from manual labor. The staff needs both plasterers and a robot operator. At the end of each shift or before breaks, the unit must be washed with a pressure washer. If you miss this, the plaster will dry out and the robot will have to be disassembled and cleaned mechanically.

The device of the robotic plasterer and its work can be seen in a short video:

The cost of the unit starts from 200 thousand. rub. for a used model. Perhaps this is the main drawback. Many advertisements for sale on avito. Perhaps they are not as effective as we would like. Although, they write that due to the rapid application, those who finish the lower part of the walls do not keep up with it. Downtime causes the plaster inside the robot to dry out.

In addition to robotic plasterers, there are electromechanical beacons for leveling the plaster surface.

Used in conjunction with a pressure plastering device. But here, too, manual labor is needed in the corners.

If someone used a robotic plasterer on objects - write your review in the comments.
