How to prevent butter from staining a bottle and cheese from sticking to a grater - secrets of my daughter-in-law
I am always surprised and envious of those housewives who know how to constantly keep the house clean. At the same time, some of them are constantly working on something, washing, spending all weekends and evenings on it. Others, on the contrary, maintain order in everything without visible effort, and they don’t forget themselves, their loved ones.
One of these housewives I know is my brother's wife. Therefore, I decided to ask her for answers to some questions that relate to cleanliness and order.
For example, she always has very clean kitchen towels. And even after washing at 90 degrees, stains remain on them.
Then she told me that a few hours before washing them in the machine, she soaks the towels in warm water, to which she adds vinegar. About half a glass of 9% vinegar per liter of water. But this is by eye, roughly. After soaking, the towels are washed much better.
As the conversation continued, my daughter-in-law reminded me to constantly wipe the doorknobs, especially when entering the house. After all, we turn them with not yet washed hands, after we came from the street. And the rest of the pens often remain out of sight of the housewives when cleaning. And on them - a lot of bacteria. She wipes them with vodka or a disinfectant solution, which she puts on a napkin.
But the plumbing in the shower and in the sinks - taps, mixers, a shower hose - she wipes with a solution of citric acid. An acid-dampened cloth perfectly removes soap and shampoo stains and limescale from water. And chrome products sparkle like new.
In addition, about once every two to three months, citric acid should be used to clean the washing machine. It is poured into the powder compartment. After that, the machine starts up for a wash of about 60 degrees without laundry. This procedure helps to keep the heating element free from limescale.
Another tip from a relative is when we fry pancakes, or for another reason we use a bottle of vegetable oil often, then it flows down the side, the hands become greasy, and the bottle becomes dirty and oily. To prevent this from happening, you need to cut a hole in the cotton pad for the neck and make a "collar" on the bottle. After that, even if something drains from the neck, it will remain on a cotton pad.
And one more secret with vegetable oil - before you start grating cheese, you need to grease the grater with oil. After that, the cheese will not stick, the shavings will not stick together. In addition, at the end of the work, the grater will be washed off easily and quickly.
And finally, she treated me to fried eggs, which she cooked in an onion ring. The food turned out to be perfect in shape, and sprinkled with cheese - delicious in taste. They, of course, have their own chickens, so I never refuse scrambled eggs. I would never have thought of making such an easy and simply beautiful dish from elementary products.
There is a great saying “live and learn”. Especially now, when the Internet makes it possible to receive a lot of interesting information.
