Today tasting of the Big Striped Boar and Dzy-Yu-Dzy-Bi-Yu
On July 9, the first fruits of these particular varieties were fully ripe. So I can't wait to try it.
In the foreground is a slightly immature Dzy-Yu-Dzy-Bi-Yu, the color on the cut is paler.
The grandson (6 years old) gave both tomatoes a like, that is, he raised his thumb up. Only he didn’t like the skin, it was harsh. The skin got dislikes :) He rates Cherry at 2 likes, two fingers up.
The son-in-law is not fond of talking, for him these are just delicious tomatoes. He said that, of today's tomatoes, the Big Boar is the most delicious (there were also Dzy-Yu-Dzy-Bi-Yu and unripe Delicious).
BUT I liked Dzy-Yu-Dzy - Bi-Yu! It was juicy, with a mild, velvety flavor, straight juice. Thanks for the seeds to Uncle Sulu :)
The big striped boar is good. For comparison, I cut one of the early reds - do not compare! Boar's taste is richer and more balanced.
My daughter also appreciated the Big Striped Boar. Although it has no aroma, she called the taste aromatic, bright, with an aftertaste. And also the most delicious of today. Thanks to Madina from Irkutsk for the seeds :)
Dzy-Yu-Dzy - Bi-Yu's daughter did not get it.
Let me remind you that the first fruits are usually inferior in taste to the next ones, so we are waiting.
About beauty
With our eyes we also ate these tomatoes :)
The large striped boar is dark orange with green stripes, and Dzy-Yu-Dzy is a Bi-Yu dark crimson with green strokes.
About weight and stuff
These varieties have no aroma. Their advantage is in the beauty of the fruit, in the taste and healthy bushes. The bushes are quite tall, both varieties. Well leafy, powerful. The wild boar today is 133 cm, Dzy is 165 cm, they are indeterminate.
