Greed or calculation? A selection of examples of how not to transport building materials and goods
Savvy is a very good quality. But when ingenuity is combined with the desire to do something cheaper or free of charge, the result is a mixture of a funny and very dangerous sight. It's funny, because it's always fun to watch how a person, in a fit of economy, turns an ordinary passenger car into a truck. Dangerous, as these overloaded vehicles trudge along the roads and often create accidents. How not to transport goods - see below!
Not only horses are rearing up ...
Promotions and sales in hardware stores cause only positive emotions. And sometimes they are so positive that you want to buy everything and more! In this case, an instinct called "everything will fit in the household" is triggered. But the carriers are not satisfied with the delivery of goods - gasoline is not getting cheaper here. Therefore, you have to load the iron horse to such an extent that it rears up! Here two incompatible desires converged: to take away as much as possible and at one time. Did not work... greed triumphed ...
Firewood and hay - two problems on the road
Wood is a relatively light material. This creates the illusion that it is possible to load commercial timber or ordinary firewood, as they say, above the roof. At the sight of such cars on the roads, frames from the film "Destination" pop up in my memory. I wonder if the drivers of the lorries overloaded with forest watched this picture? Although the plot of the film is fantastic, the accident is shown to be quite real. Yeah... it's better to stay away from those on the road! And by the way, drivers transporting hay in this way, remember: a high temperature is generated in the car engine, and sparks are sometimes emitted from the exhaust pipe. With such transportation, you can remove the next part of the "Ghost Rider".
Will your hand tremble?
The knights of antiquity knew how to hold a spear firmly - their descendants can easily transport skirting boards and other oversized cargo in a car. They don't even need a roof rack for that! The method, of course, is a good one, but I wonder how far the cargo can be transported in this way? You can even make a new sports discipline out of this: transportation of wooden skirting boards at speed and distance along a country road. It will be interesting to see this!
