What can you earn one hundred percent on, living in the village, only if you want
I want to tell my story of how I spent last winter in the village due to the fact that there was a lockdown in the city.
Back in 2020, when the lockdown was announced, I went to live in the village so as not to sit in a stuffy apartment in the city. It was just necessary to sow seedlings, prepare for spring. Therefore, I did not get bored in my house in the village. Moreover, people who had fled the city also lived in almost all country houses.
One of our neighbors once came to chat with me and, noticing that I had a cold floor in my house, offered me to buy some footprints from her. She knits such tracks in literally an hour, they are very comfortable and seemingly pretty. Since the price is 100 rubles, I bought them with pleasure.
I liked them, because because of the swelling of my legs, I don’t like to wear socks. Soon there were some friends' birthdays, and I ordered a couple more tracks. A neighbor said that her daughter buys threads in bulk, so the benefit from one pair is about 50 rubles. She does not take work into account, because she knits them between times, in front of the TV. Thus, she receives about 2,000 rubles a month in addition to her pension for pills. It seems to me that 100 rubles is very cheap. And I showed such tracks to another neighbor, a summer resident, saying that they were selling for 150 rubles. And she gladly bought two pairs for a gift to someone. That is, I helped my friend raise the price, as she, a former teacher, is too intelligent and does not appreciate her work.
And the second neighbor knits brooms in the summer. Moreover, she has them for every taste - with mint, nettle, oregano. Brooms are bought by wholesalers at 50 rubles apiece. She earned 10,000 rubles on brooms. He says if there were helpers, more could be done.
The most profitable business in the summer in the village is berry picking. The price for them is kept quite high, so villagers can earn 50,000 rubles over the summer by selling a variety of berries, both forest and garden ones. Since there are abandoned gardens nearby, you can pick up anything there, because there were varietal plants in the dachas. I also took up this business in the summer and was able to get 8,000 rubles. Although she did not set herself the goal of earning a lot.
And, of course, those who are not lazy and plant their own vegetables - carrots, beets, potatoes, can always sell them to summer residents. My neighbors plant a sea of carrots. Care for it is small, only thin out, and then watered with a spinner. Their land is good, as they fertilize with humus all the time. And the carrots grow great. Over the summer, at least 15,000 rubles only for carrots, as well as potatoes and beets.
That is, both summer residents and locals can find work in the village, if they want to do it.
