Found a "penny" material for the walls of a frame house (cheaper than OSB and SIP panels)
When compared with other types of buildings, the frame house will be one of the cheapest. Wireframe technology came to us from North America. It was developed back in the middle of the twentieth century. Over time, such construction has earned popularity all over the world.
The base of the frame is the foundation. Most often, a pile foundation is chosen. This makes construction cheaper. Insulation, vapor barrier, waterproofing are also important for a frame house. The advantage of this construction is that it can be carried out at any time of the year.
Such a house is easy to build and dismantle. You can make some changes during construction. Disadvantage - ventilation is required so that there is no mold and mildew on the walls.
The frame can be either metal or wood. Can be mixed. It is quite possible to build such a house in 5-9 weeks. If we compare it with a brick house, then it will have to be built for 1-2 years (it all depends on the size).
Frame houses are very warm. They can be heated with electricity. Someone will say that it is expensive. But if you make high-quality insulation at home, then the costs can be significantly reduced. Ceramic heaters can be selected as heating.
If the foundation is piled, then the floors will be on logs. In such a house, it is quite possible to feel the vibration of the floors. This is one of the disadvantages of a frame house. You can ignore it or get rid of such a nuisance: pour over the screed.
How else to reduce the cost of construction? Walls for 16 thousand rubles
You can save on wall material. A wall per square meter will cost only 350-400 rubles. All walls will cost about 16,000 rubles.
Thermal insulation properties are similar to a brick wall of 2 bricks or a wall of timber (thickness 20 cm). The wall itself is no thicker than 4 cm.
So, the material for the walls and insulation will be sheets of extruded polystyrene foam or foam. The thickness of the material is only 3 cm. Thicker can be used. Better to buy rough sheets.
To begin with, we put the sheets horizontally on a smooth surface (cover with foil) and glue them together with glue-foam (we do it according to the height and width of the opening).
Then we take a fiberglass mesh and cut it to the height of the resulting wall. We will fasten the mesh with an overlap of 10 cm.
And you need to glue the mesh on the glue for expanded polystyrene plates. The adhesive must be frost-resistant, water-resistant, good adhesion and elastic.
It is easier to apply glue on a horizontal surface. So, first we apply a thin layer of glue, then the mesh and again a thin layer on top. We level it with a spatula and a real composite material is obtained. A wall measuring 2x2 m is obtained with a weight of about 45 kg.
It is cheaper than SIP panels. Foam the resulting walls to the frame, fix it with bars, then fix it thoroughly. After installing the walls, we apply the finishing. You can use decorative plaster.
