The scribes came, but I was not at home, my son did not let them count the plantings in the garden
Today we went to the city, our son stayed at home, who came on vacation. He sleeps for a long time, in the evenings he also walks for a long time, therefore, having left in the morning, we did not wake him up. But at about 12 o'clock he called and said that two women in green vests came to us and said that they needed to make a census of everything that was in our garden and vegetable garden.
The son, of course, did not let them in, saying that the parents were not at home, and he would not show anything.
He was especially indignant that while they were standing at the house, our cock crowed. Having heard, the women began to ask how many chickens we have, how long have we kept them?
Of course, the student did not answer, behaved like a partisan. Then I went on the Internet to see what kind of census of hens and roosters it was. Looked, calmed down.
I already knew that there would be an agricultural microcensus in August. It aims to show what changes agriculture is undergoing in our country.
Of course, each of us will say what kind of changes these are - the complete destruction of agriculture and the replacement of natural products with artificial ones.
For example, there is an agricultural enterprise in the neighboring village. It specializes specifically in organic farming - that is, it does not use any chemicals either in the fields or for fodder for livestock. Produces all products in-house. Their milk is just real, in bottles - cow's. Sour cream, cheeses, everything is amazingly tasty, although more expensive than the products of other dairies. And so, recently I saw on VKontakte, in a group of our village, that they are giving up their own production, because it is unprofitable! They were simply crushed by the producers of artificial palm milk with their cheap pile.
This is what you need to think about when conducting an agricultural census.
Honestly, I don't really want to show how many apple trees I have in my garden, how many chickens and roosters. I don't really trust our authorities, so as not to fear any reprisals or tax problems. Why do I need to see which potato field, or how many raspberry bushes?
I am quite a modern and progressive person, but we were so crushed that even such a thing as a census raises concerns, like a peasant woman in the 18th century. What is it? Why have we become like this - yes, because life teaches us this - they take away the latter.
Have you shown your farm to the scribes?
