A friend had long considered what to build a house from after the rise in prices for building materials. I chose cinder blocks with insulation (showing savings)

Prices for building materials in 2021 are not encouraging. For some categories, they have grown 2-3 times. The average rise in price for almost everything is by 30-50%. In this regard, even those materials that recently seemed interesting, because of their price, fade into the background.

Those planning to build with wood either put it off or switched to other wall materials. But due to the increase in demand, these materials began to rise rapidly in price. For example, aerated concrete in our region has grown from 4500 rubles / m3 to 6800 rubles / m3 (in the Krasnoyarsk Territory).

Brick and PShchS-blocks practically did not change in price. They may have a shortage or a queue in delivery, but the price is kept at the same level.

Which wall material to choose now is a dilemma for many. Frameworks due to the rise in prices for lumber and OSB sheets became gold. And for all their disadvantages, the framework loses to stone houses. By the way, if someone wants to replace OSB sheets with something cheaper - the article is here: Found something to replace OSB sheets. 4 times cheaper

Aerated concrete, foam concrete, teplobok and wood concrete exceeded in price for 7000 rub / m3 (up 50%). Yesterday I sat and checked the prices. And I wondered, and from what to build a garage? I wanted to continue building from aerated concrete.

It seems that all manufacturers keep track of each other's prices and change their prices, adjusting to demand and trying not to miss out on profits. The market economy, however.

The other day I was talking with a good friend of mine. For a long time he considered what to build a house from. And in the end I settled on PShchS-blocks (blocks of sand-crushed stone mixture). In some regions, ash from thermal power plants and blast furnaces is added to them (or they only use ash as a filler) and they are called cinder blocks there.

Basically, cottages (without insulation) for summer residence or garages are built from such blocks.

An acquaintance for the foundation chose a tape with floors on the ground (with backfill). But he chose this construction principle:

The photographs show the construction of aerated concrete. But the principle is the same. The masonry is erected in 3-4 rows, and the corners and for every 3 m of the wall are filled with reinforced columns. Along the top of the masonry there is an armored belt connected to the columns. Laying blocks in 1 row. Columns can be poured in layers as they are laid. Or you can erect walls and fill them immediately with an armored belt using a concrete pump.

But at the same time, you need a lot of boards for the formwork and it must be fixed to the walls reliably enough. Otherwise it will squeeze out.

We convince him that columns are not needed at all in a one-story cinder block building. Even with a wall length of 18 m. The compressive strength of the blocks is an order of magnitude higher than that of aerated concrete (not lower than B20). Armopopoyas will be enough.

At the cost of materials for its perimeter of a one-story building 18x9 m you need everything 32 m3 blocks. At the cost of blocks 40 rub / piece or 2900 rub / m3 - that's all 93 thous. rub. Plus mortar, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, delivery and work - even the maximum 100 thous. rub.

Such a cinder block house must be insulated. And the thickness of the insulation should be at least 150 mm. Foam cost - RUB 3000 / m3. On the perimeter you need 24 m3. it 72 thous. rub.

Add the plaster of the facade and walls - the cost of the walls will cost 300 thous. rub. While walls made of aerated concrete with a thickness of 300 mm (without insulation and plaster) will go into 400 thous. rub. And in our climate, the thickness of 300 mm still needs to be insulated. This is the kind of economy or economy.
