Again I come across this rake called "ideal and perfection". On the one hand, the desire to do everything as well as possible, of course, is understandable. But it often happens that some little things are not important at all.

Friends, everyone is a huge hello. Finally, another difficult stage of my self-construction came to the end. The floor screed is ready!

And there is one nuance, because of which the most energy was spent.

Thoroughness and accuracy is an integral part of any work you do for the first time.

I do all the work on building a house for the first time, so I know what I'm talking about ...

And it was the same with the screed.

At the first stages, several times I took the same account with the rule, then looked out for every hole and or bump, corrected with a spatula, then again with the rule, etc.

And together with the manual mixing of the solution, it was very hard work.

And only when I was tormented with half of the house, a simple solution appeared.

Of course, I didn’t come up with it, it’s just that I didn’t study the technology enough ...

• When pouring the screed, the main thing is to observe the general level, and not to miss large pits and influxes. And the little things can be finalized later.
• The next day, before getting the beacons, I walked along the plane with the same rule and cut off all unnecessary defects.

While the mortar is not yet too strong, this is very easy to do. This is especially useful in inconvenient places, where during the pouring itself it is difficult to get close and do everything exactly (corners, areas at the joints with walls).

As a result, the overall savings in time and effort are quite tangible.

At the same time, already on the last room, I came to the conclusion that in vain this fuss with the fixing of some minor flaws is generally useless. The main thing is to comply with the norms on the plane,

And all minor defects are leveled either with glue (if tiles are laid), or a substrate (in the case of laminate).
