How many TVs do you need for a family of three
There are people who cannot live without TV - they constantly listen to the news, enthusiastically watch talk shows, follow the twists and turns in the series. That is, in fact, they are living someone else's life. They spend time on other people's problems, go through troubles that happened to completely strangers. Rather, they did not happen, but invented for strangers by scriptwriters and producers. If you recognize yourself in this description, you urgently need to get rid of such an addiction. Learn to live your life, don't watch what happens to others.
And there is another category of people. For them, TV is a vital background. My sister has a four-room apartment and has 4 TVs in it! For 4 people. So far, he is not only in the bedroom of his one-year-old granddaughter. And in the rest of the rooms and in the kitchen - everywhere on the TV wall! And when I came to them for the last time, they were talking in all seriousness about arranging a telly in the toilet!
Moreover, none of them sticks to the viewing of programs. They chat, talk, eat, do household chores, but the screen is always on. Remote controls are everywhere, you can add sound at any time if something suddenly interests you.
It's a nightmare for me to be their guest. I immediately start to turn down the volume in order to communicate normally. Better yet, as soon as I am alone in the room, I immediately turn off the TV.
Now imagine what happened when they came to visit us in a new house. So far we have only one TV, in the dining room. There is a sofa, you can lie down and watch the programs. Our living room has not yet been finished; of course, TV is also planned there. But that's all. Two TVs are enough for us. It will definitely not be in the bedroom; I have a computer in my office. In his son's room - he said that he didn’t need, only a computer.
Sister and niece gave us a million arguments that a TV is definitely needed in the bedroom.
“Suddenly before going to bed I want to watch a movie” - I replied that I would watch it in the living room and then go to sleep peacefully.
“In the morning, cheer up, find out the news” - I replied that I start the morning with exercises and go to the kitchen-dining room, where there is a TV set. And so on, all by. So we jokingly argued the whole evening how many televisions per capita should be in the house. They think at least one, we lean towards 0.66.
And if we talk seriously, then I am categorically opposed to a box constantly broadcasting in the house. For me, it exists only for watching sports events, it is, in fact, interesting. Somehow you feel like a part of a large army of fans, especially when Guberniev comments. In a computer, I miss this feeling. The husband watches some programs in the evenings and also watches sports. The son, when at home, chooses some humorous programs, he has his own taste.
And there is nothing to say about the background sound! I hate the noise. I love silence or pleasant music.
I would like to know your opinion, are televisions really needed today, if each of us has a smartphone in our pocket that will inform about the weather, about the news in the world and give the necessary information?
