Concrete mixer, after three years of self-construction: was it worth buying? (And let me not be told that the solution can be ordered at the factory).

When building a house, the purchase of a tool can be attributed to a separate expense item (especially when you start everything from scratch). But initially you do not know if these costs will be justified by the benefits brought?

Friends, a big hello to everyone. Moving further and further in the construction of your home, you begin to take many things for granted (this is especially true for the instrument).

But one has only to think that it would be necessary to work somehow differently, it becomes uncomfortable ...

A concrete mixer is not the most demanded thing in the house.

So I thought at the very beginning of my construction path.

Well, I'll mix it with concrete or mortar several times, and it will stand to gather dust ...

Although at the same time, if necessary, I did not want to run around my acquaintances in search of a concrete mixer.

Therefore, I nevertheless decided to buy, in addition to the entire instrument that I purchased (in the beginning there was nothing at all). Despite the fact that it cost about 10 tr, in total, it did not seem expensive.

✔ The foundation was poured from a mixer.

And here, all the time, preparation, the concrete mixer was gathering dust (as I thought). It turns out the first season, for her it was empty ...

And then it began.

• Jumpers and armopoyas.

• Concrete septic tank.

• Floor screed.

I did all these works alone, and there was no question of ordering a mixer. One reason was enough: I simply would not have time to cope with the entire volume of concrete (or mortar) at once.

It seems that from the total amount of work done, this is a small list. But I have no idea how I would have handled it without a concrete mixer.

When you leave the sand and cement all day and drag buckets of concrete, then you crawl home exhausted, and you fall on the sofa, you just have to think what it would be like for me if I kneaded everything manually... And it immediately becomes easier.

And for all this time, no complaints.

Only the engine mounting bolt was unscrewed once and that's it 😁.

Otherwise, he stands on the street all year round, and does not ask for food. And when needed, he comes to the rescue. And I already realized that this help will be needed more than once ahead.
