There are also side cutters with which it is convenient to bite aluminum, copper wires, remove insulation, etc.

Tricks, experience of the masters

1. Using two tools (pliers and side cutters), you can easily remove the insulation from a short wire. It's hard to do it with your hands. The wire slips and does not stick in your fingers.

Take the pliers and clamp one end of the short conductor. And with side cutters we quickly and easily remove the insulation. It would seem like a simple advice, but it can come in handy.

2. Sometimes you need to close up a hole in the drywall. We take a sheet of paper, apply it to the hole and outline the outline. Cut out the plasterboard patch. Then we take an ice cream stick, grease it with glue. Now the pliers come in handy. Clamp the stick and insert it into the hole.

Press down a little so that the glue hardens. Then we take the finished patch, coat it with glue and apply it to the stick.

Then we putty and further finish.

3. Sometimes you have to work with one hand. Pliers are difficult to open.

For this, back in Soviet times, they came up with an elastic rubber hose to connect the handles. The tool will open itself.

4. Hard wood is difficult to hammer in nails. Take the pliers and, holding the nail, start hammering in it.

Now it won't bend.

5. Smooth hole in the tile. Draw the contour, with a drill and a drill (4 mm) make holes on the inside of the contour.

The formed corners, partitions can be easily trimmed with pliers.
