Don't throw away rotten apples and carrion! We tell you how to use them for the benefit of the garden and garden

Important!

Fallen apples must be removed from under the trees, one and all! If this is not done, then, firstly, the fruits will begin to ferment, and plant diseases will actively develop in the yeast environment. Secondly, apples acidify the soil and the tree will also begin to suffer from this. To prevent this from happening, immediately remove the fallen fruits.

Fertilizer from apples

Apple fruit is an excellent raw material for preparing a fertilizer rich in nutrients and vitamins, which can increase soil fertility in a short time. You can make compost from the volunteer or start feeding it in its pure form. Fertilizers from apples give increased growth to berries, fruit trees and shrubs, vegetables.

Top dressing from apples

For feeding, you need to choose apples without signs of disease and rot. Before use, the fruits must be crushed. On empty autumn beds, make a furrow, put chopped apples into it in an even layer, abundantly on top sprinkle with ash to neutralize the acidity of the soil, add a little manure and sprinkle with this "cocktail" earth. Next year, just dig up this bed and plant the plants.

Compost from the drop

Rotten and diseased fruits are suitable for compost, because rotting processes accelerate the preparation of compost, and all diseases and infections will burn out in this process. The compost is very easy to prepare. Fertilizer should be prepared in a closed compost heap. The first layer is grass, apples on top, then a layer of ash and all this is sprinkled with a layer of soil. If grass, carrion and soil need to be added in approximately equal proportions, then ash comes at the rate of 2 liters per 1 cubic meter of fertilizer. The compost should be periodically pierced with a pitchfork and a little agitated. This procedure will provide oxygen access and enhance the reaction. In spring you can use compost from a scatter just like a regular one!

Important! There should be no more than 30% of apples in the compost.
