Moved from city to village: a new problem with emergency trees near the house. Who should cut them down?
Emergency trees near the house are not very pleasant to see. The owner must keep track of this and contact the proper companies at the time. This is what the law says. But the administration should approach this issue with no less responsibility.
Recently I bought a house in the village. When buying, I did not notice that the trees are inclined so strongly towards the house. Although the former owners said that a branch from one birch fell on the roof of the veranda. In general, I did not attach any importance to this. And now, after a while, I realized that I had made a mistake.
Not only that there were problems with the gas boiler. I called gas workers several times (they changed the pump, cleaned it, fixed the leak). Looks like the former owners did not watch the boiler at all.
So it is with emergency trees near the house. One large branch damaged the roof, they did not poke around. They just sold the house and that's it.
We debugged the boiler. Now I decided to tackle 3 thick and tall birches. One of them leaned strongly towards the house. That and look will fall and damage the entire roof.
I wrote through the State Services to the District Administration. It is very convenient. Already somehow I asked to clear the way for my parents in winter. Reacted quickly.
This time I waited a long time for a response from the administration. A month later they called and asked: "Are the trees on the site?" I said no, near the house behind the fence. Outside my site. Then the second question followed: "Why didn't you apply to the village council?" Because the administration should also resolve this issue or send it to a specific body that solves these issues.
As a result, a status appeared on the State Services, the result of my application: an answer to your appeal was received, the issue was considered, the service was provided.
The district administration indicated the following: to resolve the issue of tree demolition, apply with a written application to the village council administration.
I did not argue, I went to the village council. Submitted a written application. They said that the employee would come to the address and make a conclusion. A day later, another called me and said that the felling ticket was ready. Come, take and cut down trees.
How so? Shouldn't the administration itself do this? I have a crane and all the tools. But is it okay if I'm not a specialist and the tree can fall on the roof when I start cutting it down? But what about the wires that are next to the trees? No answer to my questions. Here's your ticket and do what you want.
What would you do? Did you cut it yourself or further "fought" with the administration, the Ministry of Emergency Situations or electricians?
