When your site is not very large, then the planning of some new buildings is carried out carefully. Especially if this thing is completely optional (but kind of like, and useful) ...

Friends, everyone is a huge hello. Many will say: "He has not finished building the house yet, but he is already thinking about some kind of shed"... Well, yes, I love to dream.

Indeed, more often than not, my construction ideas and solutions do not come in five minutes.

And here, even more so, a very confusing question.

A canopy at the entrance to the site can be seen in many. And of course there are advantages here.

✔ Sun protection. This applies more to the southern cities, where you can find areas where half of the territory is closed.

In my area of ​​St. Petersburg, they hide more from the rains.

✔ And as a temporary shelter is very useful, run under the roof for a short rain.

✔ And it is convenient to get out of the car when it rains. Don't run to the door and still get wet, but stay dry and calm ...

✔ A place to park your car. I do not know how much protection from precipitation, while parking, will extend the service life of the car, but you can save on car wash (especially when the forest is all around, and there are a lot of birds).

✔ Yes, and with anomalies(suddenly hail, or strong wind, with "gifts" that may arrive) can help out too.

✔ Backlog for the future. After all, a canopy is like a skeleton, on which you can then sew walls, make a screed on the ground, and get a full-fledged garage. Well, or some other room, here the taste and color ...

However, all of these benefits are good, but still not necessary.

All that was listed above is not vital. At the same time, one should not forget about the cons:

• Limited opportunities to enter the site. After all, even if the construction is over, it is not a fact that it will not start again. And all these awnings will be an obstacle to technology.
• In winter, there may be difficulty with snow on the canopy. After all, most of them have a flat roof.
• And this is constant monitoring and cleaningso that this whole structure does not collapse.
• And from this follow the corresponding costs for the construction of a normal structure (both material and physical). Despite the fact that many want a construction for the floor of the yard ...

Thus, we get some kind of borderline state ...

✅ It seems useful, but not necessary. With my problems, although I seem to want to.

Still, for myself, I conclude that this thing will appear in my house, but only when all other things have been done.
