The system of "warm walls" in the house is the heating of the future or hopeless stupidity

After we finished building the house, I thought that it was difficult to surprise me with some new construction innovations, because I diligently studied all the possibilities that we can apply in our house. We wanted everything that will be in our home to be functional and modern. At the same time, of course, so that everything fits into the budget, which is not very extensive in our country.

But then a friend called me and told me that they made warm walls in one of the rooms in their house. This was advised by the builders, who said that warm walls are the last squeak of a building thought.

I didn't quite understand the first time, but she explained that this is how we made a warm floor with pipes through which heated water flows, and they also have such walls.

And I immediately decided to look on the Internet what it is. Indeed, warm walls do exist.

But, no matter how they describe their advantages, in my opinion, this is stupidity from the point of view of physics and heat engineering. After all, a warm floor heats the room from below, as it should be. And heating batteries, for example, are placed in the lower part of the wall, but they are much lower in efficiency, because warm the air from them goes upstairs, leaving a cold space underneath and heating the room only at the expense of convection. The heating radiator has a very high temperature, but it is completely open, so the heat transfer from it is high.

And warm walls - in them the coolant is walled up under a layer of plaster, that is, it will give no more than 10-15% of the heat into the room. This is their main drawback.

Then, let's imagine that pipes are running down the walls. And how to hang it later, when everything is plastered, on such a wall, for example, a picture or a shelf? After all, nothing can be hammered or screwed into it, so as not to damage the tube. And wallpaper is scary to glue. And how will they stick to the hot wall? They will disappear in a month.

We are not talking about any electrician, switch or outlet on such a wall.

To be honest, I think such a system is very stupid. Well, let's then, in general, mount the heating from the outside of the house. If you really want to be not like everyone else.

I think that the numbers on the meters in relation to one square meter of the heated area of the house are unlikely to please the owners. The efficiency is very low, and the cost of heating the coolant will be serious. I think that the words of the great Russian chemist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, who said: "You can also heat with banknotes," would be more suitable here. True, he said this about oil, but this expression fits perfectly here.

By the way, when I asked a friend what caused such a decision, why a normal warm floor was not made? She could not answer.

How do you feel about the warm wall system? Is their use in a private house justified?
