EM drugs and compost - money scam or makes sense
Yes, our compost gets a lot of goodies. To ripen faster and decrease in volume. And was fluffy and healthy.
This year the compost got: Radiance, the remains of BioAzot (BTU biocomplex), Flora C and this new drug for me:
I'll tell you a little more about him.
The Super Gumifier contains microorganisms. They love oxygen, so only the top layer of the compost needed to be watered. Which I did. Two heaps did not sink, that is, there was ripe compost in them, I improved it. And one sank a little.
But the main thing, of course, is not a decrease in volume, but an enrichment with beneficial microorganisms. This quality cannot be seen. Then, when the crops with this compost will hurt less, I will thank myself and the preparations :)
I also had Bokashi, but I poured them into a warm garden bed. Microorganisms in Bokashi's preparation do not like oxygen, so it was most logical to bury them deeper.
For those who do not share my passion for EM drugs
It is believed that EM drugs are a scam from marketers. But I was convinced of their effectiveness. Plants with them are more powerful and healthy, grow and ripen faster. Who has not tried it, does not think so :)
Once I read a whole angry article, they say, there is nothing to wear around with expensive bottles, because there are billions, kilograms of beneficial microorganisms in the soil.
As if we did not ruin their economic activities, did not spoil their lives with plowing, poisons. Pathogenic microorganisms tolerate such executions more easily, reproduce phenomenally under favorable conditions. And useful is not so. Phytophthora, Cladosporium, etc. everyone knows, and no such epidemic has ever happened to a useful biota.
So why are billions and kilograms in the soil?
It is as if someone objected to the planting of cultivated plants, they say, there are enough weeds. And among them there are many useful and edible ones. And there are enough forests, no gardens.
I would like to know your opinion about my love for compost and EM preparations.
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
