My friend and her husband sold the house and left the village for the city in an apartment - why

For a year now we have been living in a private house, where we hastily moved from the city last year for obvious reasons. And such joy, happiness from the fact that there is peace and quiet around, we have not experienced for a long time.

Nevertheless, I found out that one of my former colleagues, who is a little older than me, but with whom we have developed a very warm relationship, is selling the house and leaving for the city.

It struck me because she was exactly the person who finally approved me in the idea that it was necessary to start building a house and leave the city.

They also bought an unfinished house 23 years ago, brought it to mind, living in it. A chic personal plot was organized around. I always went to them and was surprised how not very young spouses manage to keep everything so exemplary. For several years they even kept a cow, then a goat. But they have given up everything in recent years.

But now I am already approaching the age at which they were then and I understand that this is not old age and not weakness at all, but experience and wisdom. And still on the shoulder.

But recently my friend underwent several operations, and in the winter they had a crown. And, fortunately, everything went well, they did not start up, they did not lie in the hospital. However, the consequences are known to be very unpredictable for everyone.

Their three daughters live in the city, they all have children, work. A granddaughter lived with them, who studied in the village in an elementary school. The teacher here is just a gorgeous, elderly, Soviet-trained teacher. She keeps up with the times, uses the Internet, an interactive whiteboard and other things in class. My friend's granddaughter, not the only city child who was brought to her. There are 16 people in the class! This is an incredible amount for a village. Usually 5-6 children.

But now the primary school is over and the granddaughter needs to be sent to the secondary school. But this is very bad here. The quality of teaching suffers.

And all these circumstances gave them a reason to sell a large house, buy an apartment in the suburbs and go closer to their daughters.

I talked to her, and she said that she could no longer work in the garden, it was hard. The husband also gave up after the crown. Therefore, such a decision was made. Moreover, you need to be closer to medicine. After all, she is not in the village.

And children require attention and help from daughters. One needs to be taken to hockey, the other to wrestle, parents do not have time everywhere. Nowadays, no one lets some children go. Therefore, grandfather and grandmother will always be on hand.

As you can see, the reasons for selling a house in the village and buying an apartment in the city may be as follows:

1. Lacks health, there is no strength to maintain the site.

2. Constant medical assistance is required, and in the village this has always been bad in recent years.

3. Grandchildren need attention, children need help raising grandchildren.

4. The maintenance of the house pours into a considerable amount, because we do not have gas in the village, we heat everything with electricity. Firewood requires a lot of energy. And the site needs to be monitored - to mow, to repair something, to remove snow in winter.

Therefore, those who seek out of the city should take into account all these circumstances.
