Subsidies for the purchase of solar panels by individuals may appear in Russia
In the Russian Federation, micro-generation capacity may increase to 1 GW by 2035. This indicator is actively discussed in the government.
But in order to reach these numbers, solar panels need to be installed in at least 100,000 households. So how will the incentive to install be provided, it must be admitted that the equipment is not so affordable? Let's figure it out.
Green energy policy and its implementation
Thus, according to calculations, by the end of this year, the total micro-generation capacity in the Russian Federation may already reach about 23 MW. This means that in order to achieve the announced figure of 1 GW by 2035, an increase of more than 40 times is needed.
Indicators in 1 GWT by 2035 will be approved as part of the initiative for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation until 2030 "Clean Energy".
According to experts, such a build-up will primarily be provided due to massive involving citizens in the purchase of micro-generation facilities, including by reducing their retail cost.
To achieve the planned results, it is necessary that solar panels (the most common representative of "green" energy) be installed on at least 100,000 households.
So if you mount a 5 kW installation, then its price varies from 300,000 to 350,000 rubles, and this is huge money for any household and just like that no one can install it on the roofs at their own expense will.
But as the department especially emphasizes, there will be no government subsidies during the operation of the installations, the payback is will be carried out primarily by covering their own energy consumption, as well as by selling surplus energy to marketing companies.
How do they plan to stimulate all this?
But they still plan to use incentive measures. This is how they consider the possibility of subsidizing the purchase of equipment from Russian manufacturers.
One of the options is considered a special program of banks, according to which loans will be issued for the purchase of solar panels, and the interest accrued on such a loan will be paid the state.
As a result, the program to support microgeneration will look like only time will tell. In the meantime, we need to wait for the official receipt of all the above initiatives in parliament and their final consideration.
Write in the comments, would you take such an "interest-free" loan for the installation of solar panels or not?
