The neighbor could not achieve a beautiful spathiphyllum in any way: it did not bloom, but the leaves

Do you want to finally make friends with "Women's Happiness"? Then a fiery fireworks, comrade indoor florist! Today on the agenda is a cautionary tale of how the woman wanted to do what was best for spathiphyllum, but it turned out as always. But it's great that I came to help her!

All Zen readers know: do not feed the authors of flower blogs with bread, but let them go to visit a neighbor, and find out from her amazing secrets of growing! Forgive your humble servant: I will not be original.

True, my neighbor Mila has nothing to brag about. In the corner of her room was a scabby spathiphyllum. Although a bunch of leaves still protruded from the pot, each of them was framed by a brown, in some places already black border. And there were slightly more stumps from old petioles than normal leaves.

Noticing my disdain on my face, Mila hastened to justify herself:

- Fedya, it's all because of the dry air! He does not bloom from him! Throw it out, or something - only frightens the guests!

But I knew that this was not the point at all.

A huge mistake in the cultivation of spathiphyllum and so, in detail

Comrade! You can grow a beautiful flower only if there are more "Good conditions" items than "Bad conditions" items. Mila, on the other hand, managed to do almost everything that was impossible with her spathiphyllum.

But the most fatal mistake was to put the pot in the back of the room, as advised by a friend. Imagine: Moscow region, the first floor of a house, a lilac bush in front of the window... There, on the windowsills of the light - the cat cried, and even at the TV and even more so.

Light is the main driving force of any plant. It is not surprising that "on the outskirts of life" spathiphyllum began to wither.

I defiantly moved the pot to the windowsill of the same room. Here "Women's Happiness" will be just right: there is light, but it is muffled by lilac branches, the sun will not burn.

But that's not all. During the "next" guests, I took pity on the flower, which began to come to life on the windowsill, even more: strictly ordered to finally transplant the spathiphyllum from the garden, dense soil into loose soil, and at the same time throw out all the spoiled parts.

After all, black leaves are not about dry air. This is about the roots. First, they just rotted in the hard ground. Secondly, in the deep shade, the spathiphyllum barely developed and barely pulled water, and Mila, again, after reading the Internet, watered the "moisture-loving plant" both in the tail and in the mane. Because of what it happily rotted with a vengeance.

Here's what happened in the end a month later:

I saw Mila recently. She said that the spathiphyllum has released 2 buds and she is delighted with the metamorphosis. And I put a bouquet of dried flowers on the TV - the best option for dark corners, which I really want to decorate with plants.
