What does the partition hide? Yes all! 6 cool zoning ideas for a small room
The problem of dividing a small space into functional zones did not appear yesterday! And this means that a lot of solutions have been invented. From purely decorative to functional designs. It all depends on the type of room (living room, bedroom, hallway)... and the idea that you want to bring to life.
Good afternoon dear friends!
For example, you have a task to separate the sleeping zone (bed) from the combined space: communication zones and watching films, zones food intake, computer work areas, sports areas, etc. So, not every solution is suitable for this goals! Because you need not only to respect the privacy of your personal corner, but also to provide it with natural light and fresh air. And this is no longer so easy to do!
But not impossible. And in order to help you in such an intimate event as creating a sleeping area practically "in the middle" of the living space, I prepared this material.
1.Practical glass partition. When there is only one window in the room, then a transparent partition will be the best solution. Thanks to glass, you not only physically divide the room into two separate zones, but also provide it entirely with light. But there is no need to fence a huge glass structure from wall to wall, from ceiling to ceiling. Do something smaller and more practical!
For example, try combining a small partition with a dresser. This way you will most rationally approach the solution of the task at hand.
2.Rail construction. Would you like to organize a more veiled space in the room? No problem! I suggest using a sliding version. Such a structure is attached to the ceiling rail and opens at the moment you need it, dividing the room into two small cozy rooms.
A great alternative to the conventional plasterboard partition.
3.Simple curtain. Using curtains is probably the easiest and cheapest way to hide your bed from prying eyes. It is enough to install a ceiling curtain or string across the room, and then hang curtains on it and that's it - the partition is ready.
But keep in mind that not every curtain will work. You need to try to choose a fabric that will not only match your interior, but also add style, atmosphere and individual charm to it.
4.Designer screen. This design is convenient for its simplicity! It does not need to be fixed in any way, it can be used in various parts of the room... At the same time, you can hide anything behind it - a bed, a work corner, and a place for relaxation. In addition, screens are extremely diverse in their performance as decorative (solid, textile or perforated), and functionally (allow you to place various accessories and even decorations).
This makes them an almost indispensable element of the interior in any apartment.
5.Functional headboard. Don't want to make a garden in your already tiny room? Not a problem! Use the bed to divide the space in it into two parts - turning the bed "head" towards the entrance.
Of course, this position of the bed in space is somewhat unusual for us, but it is capable in the short term to satisfy our need for dividing the premises into functional zones: a sleeping area, a communication and movie viewing area, a reception area food, etc.
6.Wooden shelving. If you are a supporter of extremely practical solutions, then I suggest separating the sleeping area from the rest of the room with an ordinary rack with shelves / drawers. But it is worth understanding that he will darken the space behind him.
This means that it will be advisable for you to take care of additional sources of illumination in advance.
