Easy, cheap, fast! How to build a handy mobile woodshed
Sometimes the stock of firewood exceeds what a stationary woodshed or shed can accommodate. And so that the logs and logs do not lie in the middle of the yard, they need to be attached somewhere. Today we will offer you a simple, convenient and, most importantly, a collapsible structure for storing firewood.
What is needed for a mobile woodshed?
To build one such woodshed, you need two standard sand-cement double-hollow blocks measuring 390x190x188 mm and four boards. The dimensions of the boards are not regulated, but you can focus on a height of 2 meters, a width of 10 cm (the size of the void of the block is 11x14 cm and the board should enter it freely), and a thickness of 5 cm.
How to do it?
First of all, you need to choose a flat area for installing the blocks - the basis of the structure. The most convenient place for a mobile woodshed is the area along the fence. This arrangement saves space in the yard.
It is advisable to sprinkle the installation point with fine gravel or construction waste and tamp it. After that, you need to put building blocks parallel to each other and install boards in them, two on each side. The result is a V-shaped design.
Next, all that remains is to pack the firewood. It is recommended to fold down weighty logs, and up logs and thin branches. In this design, the wood is well ventilated and will dry quickly in dry weather. In case of rainy weather, the woodshed can be covered with cellophane wrap.
