I suffered for three months
I had never come across acrylic plumbing before and had no idea how to care for it. But recently we moved to a new apartment, where there was already a good renovation from the previous owner. The plumbing set included an acrylic bathtub and a kitchen sink made of so-called cast marble, or as it is also called, quartz.
In general, since a bachelor lived in this apartment for the last year, this plumbing, although it was relatively new, was in neglected condition: there was a large yellow spot at the bottom of the sink, and there was also a stubborn yellow stain in the bathroom around the drain plaque. It was disgusting to look at these things, let alone use ...
At first I thought that I would wash everything when cleaning, but it didn't work! Not a single specialized product for acrylic surfaces helped. At least I used three different ones, including two expensive ones. Useless! And splashed at night, and rubbed like crazy - nothing helps. Good old "Whiteness" came to the rescue
In general, I caught sight of a video in which a man poured Whiteness into a “quartz” sink for 10 minutes, then simply drained it, washed it with a sponge with “Fairy” and the yellow spot disappeared. For some reason I immediately believed in this life hack, "darted like a hog" to the store and bought a liter of this product for only 29 rubles. Then I plugged the drain in the sink, poured Whiteness into it, waited 15 minutes, drained it, washed it and... the stain that had bored me for three months was gone! Joy knew no bounds!
Next is the bathroom! But I had to run for two more liters to coat the bottom of the tub with the bleach. I did everything the same way: I closed the cork, filled it in, kept it for 15 minutes and washed it. There was another yellow spot on the side under the mixer. I put a rag on it and watered it with "Whiteness" in small portions to ensure maximum contact of the liquid with the contaminated surface. It was a little time consuming, and I had to breathe with chlorine, but this stain was also washed off. And I didn't have to spend money on a new outfit of this plumbing!
