The smell of the sewer from the pipe haunted. I got rid of it with a simple folk method. Stinks no more
Have you ever encountered the problem of unpleasant odors coming out of a drainpipe? Earlier this problem bypassed me. But over the past few months, I have felt it more and more sharply. I tried to spray it with air freshener. But that doesn't solve the problem. So, only temporarily disguises it.
The problem of unpleasant smell from pipes - it also lies inside the pipes. Therefore, you need to fight it from the inside. I clearly understood this! But I didn't know how to act.
What causes the smell?
These are mainly food debris, plaque, mold and other deposits that linger in the pipes and settle on the walls. And so that everything smells like cleanliness, and not moldy aromas, it is necessary to get rid of all these deposits. For this, many different chemicals are sold. But to be honest, I'm a small fan of her. I use it, of course, if there is no way out. And if there is a way out, then I try to refuse it.
For help in such matters, I turn to the older generation. They always have a tried and tested folk method that usually works great. This time I did the same. I talked to my mother, and immediately received advice. I have already tried it, so I feel free to share it with you. Suddenly someone is also relevant.
How to clean the pipes and get rid of the unpleasant odor from the drain?
You will need a little time and the following ingredients:
- Baking soda - 100 grams
- White wine vinegar - 1 glass
- Water - 0.5 l.
Pour water into a metal container and heat. Once the water has boiled, add wine vinegar and stir.
Put baking soda in the drain and immediately fill with the vinegar and water solution. A hiss reaction will occur. This is fine))
Close the drain hole tightly with a thick cloth or stopper together with plastic wrap. Leave it on for about 1 hour. When time has passed, rinse the gutter well with clean water.
After this manipulation, the smell will go away! But alas, it will appear again ((So you periodically, as necessary, you will have to repeat this procedure. But that's okay! The unpleasant smell from the pipes is much worse))
