I thought that ventilation was not needed in my house (I will manage with ventilation). But physics cannot be trampled on: problems and their solutions.
Having lived all my life in an apartment (where, if it gets stuffy, you just open the window and air it out), I couldn't to understand how the house differs in this sense, and why people install whole ventilation systems for themselves, spending a lot on it of money? But the further my construction moves, the more answers and understanding come ...
Friends, hello everyone. For me, one of the components of life in my home is closeness to nature.
When you go out into the yard, and there is fresh air, the birds are singing. And even while in the house itself, you can open all the windows wide and feel the same. But all this is more related to warm periods.
When the cold starts, a lot changes ...
And here you start to think more about the warmth and comfort in the house, and no matter how all this has flown into a tidy sum.
Although I do not live in my house yet, I appear there almost every day, and it is more and more approaching the status of a habitable space. Therefore, the conditions there must be appropriate.
Winter has already come (this year somehow abruptly and unexpectedly), so I began to take certain actions to make the house feel like at home π.
β I bought a stove, and it helps very well in heating the house (this is when I am there).
In my absence, the temperature is maintained by two convectors.
β Additionally insulated the slopes from the inside of the house.
Hope this is of some use too.
But with the first frosts, another problem manifested itself, which could not be dealt with for the second year already.
Condensation on the windows.
He bothered me last year too, but I threw everything off on the moisture content of the blocks. I thought that this year everything will change. But it was not there.
The solution to the problem here is simple: In addition to maintaining a positive temperature in the house, you need to reduce the humidity of the air. And practice confirms everything ...
One has only to heat the stove harder and open a couple of windows, as the humidity drops to 50% per day. But there is one "BUT".
β In this mode, half the day will need to be spent on all these processes, being constantly in the house (which I cannot afford). At the same time, economically, everything will be very unprofitable (itβs mono to say - you drown the street).
Therefore, the time has come to tackle this issue thoroughly.
βββ I set my sights on making a normal ventilation system π.
π And not natural, but forced, and with a recuperation function.
Previously, for me all this was difficult, incomprehensible and seemed prohibitively expensive. But it turns out for any professional system (thousands of commercials for 200 rubles), there is a simple homemade product that will cost much less, and will bring no less benefits.
As a result, I plan to get a controlled ventilation system that will maintain the climate I need in the house, while having minimal heat and energy losses. And most importantly, everything for the minimum money (as far as possible).
So a new interesting job awaits me.
Friends, I am waiting for your opinion in the comments, be sure to share your experience and advice, it's always helpful. And I went to implement all my ideas ...
