One solution to three seedling problems
Every spring I have three seedling problems:
- Little space on windowsills, especially under phytolamps
- There is not enough soil (buying, buying ...)
- It's problematic with my eyesight to seat babies
And then the idea came to my mind - to sow most of the seedlings later and in peat tablets. Something directly in tablets and planted in the ground, only remove the bags, of course.
There are never too many peat tablets. Therefore... Here's what I bought:
The pills cost me in bulk with the delivery of OZONE at 5.53 rubles. for a little thing. They take up a little space, they are stored perfectly. I have been using Jiffy for several years, I have not let you down.
I bought greenhouses for 20 tablets according to the action here Simply aesthetically pleasing and reliable. Usually I cover the crops with polyethylene, sometimes it blows away.
I have other sizes of tablets and greenhouses for all occasions.
For long-growing seedlings, such as basil, in general store substrates are ideal.
Why do I try to sow as many seedlings as possible? It happened to me more than once that the sowing in the ground ended in nothing, and that I grew up with seedlings, it made me happy! And you?
There are three drawbacks to pills:
- They dry up, we must not forget to water
- Waterlogged if poured
- An expensive solution compared to soil
When there are a lot of them, it is easier to adjust and water as needed.
I wonder how you feel about peat tablets and why?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
