My plastic windowsill became like new, I found a way to remove yellowness
This is exactly the name of the life hack that I stumbled upon today. The man in the video promises to show the way by which the yellowness from the windowsill will be washed off, and it will become snow-white, the same as it was immediately after installation. Since I recently washed the windows, and due to the fact that the dirt from the window fell on the surface of the window sill, it acquired a yellow light with gray stains.
Therefore, for me, this life hack would be very useful if it justified itself. The young man says to do the following:
1)Pour 50 milliliters of laundry soap into a small container, I took the usual liquid for hands
2) Pour some toothpaste there.
3)Mix thoroughly to get a homogeneous substance
4)Apply the mixture to the surface of the windowsill with a spoon
5)Leave to soak for 20 minutes
6)After this time, it is good to grind and rinse with water, that's all
I tested this method of cleaning the windowsill and now I can summarize. Firstly, the resulting liquid was not enough for me, so I added a little more soap to the bowl so that the mixture simply did not dry out. Therefore, immediately advice: do not spare the soap, it is better to add a little more, you can even dilute it a little with water so that all the liquid foams better and spreads easily over the surface. Secondly, the method is really working.
This can be seen when you distribute the mixture over the windowsill. In the places where it got, the difference will immediately be visible, since the toothpaste has a whitening effect, these parts of the window sill really become whiter after 20 minutes.
The only thing I want to note is that toothpaste is not so easy to wash off, I advise you to wash it off not with cold, but with warm water, so it dissolves, foams, and rinses off better. Since my window sill really turned white, the result is clearly visible in the photo, I advise everyone to try this life hack.
