Many people still trim windows with plastic, although there are options that are much more interesting (and it’s not much more difficult to do everything).
Probably everyone is already so accustomed to this banal decoration with plastic panels that they do not even think that something else is possible. In my house I will be creative, fortunately there is plenty to choose from, and it will not be difficult to do it myself.
Friends, I am glad to welcome you. Of course, the interior decoration in my house under construction will not start one of these days, but I hope that these works are not far off. And as with any upcoming business, it takes me a lot of time to plan.
So are the window slopes insulated, with the expectation of future finishing.
All the details in previous articles, on my channel.
For myself, I know for sure that in my house there will be no such option ...
Decorating windows with plastic, it seems to me, is for the case when you need to quickly make an acceptable look.
- Suitable for any interior.
- It is inexpensive.
- It's as easy as shelling pears to do.
❗ But, in my opinion, this is all too common.
When you are building a house with your own hands, it is simply a sin to stick on such a banal option, but you want to give your home some individuality. Moreover, there are many options.
✔ Even simple plaster slopes look different. And if you add a little color to the window sill and frame (and this is not a problem at all), then it turns out well.
✔ The option with a tree will be more expensive. Both in terms of money and labor. But you can make very nice options.
Of course, woodworking takes skill. But there is an option to replace natural material with the same laminate.
Laminate is now even mounted on the ceiling, so a hundred with a window opening will definitely not be a problem ...
✔ The next option is more "royal".
Decorative brick, or imitation brick on plaster, always looks great.
Or you can use the tile option. Here it will be simpler at work, and the view is no worse ...
In principle, all known finishing materials are suitable for this purpose.
The only thing that is not recommended to trim the slopes is drywall. The reason for this is the possibility of moisture absorption (from temperature changes), and the formation of fungi, mold, and other nasty things.
Otherwise, it all depends on the budget, and the desire to get confused. Although if you look at it this way, then the amount of work, in comparison with the whole house, is minimal, and there is nothing supernatural in it.
But the result is worth it ...
