My daughter told me why she won't let the school nurse get my son vaccinated

The vaccine topic in our time is a real bone of contention in society. But today we will talk about those vaccinations that are included in the children's calendar and are mandatory for everyone. Pediatricians and school doctors make sure that all children are vaccinated.

Unfortunately, the School of Medicine Institute was also destroyed. Our school had a dental chair, physiotherapy machines, a doctor and a nurse. And now... Everything is destroyed.

In the USSR and now

I grew up in the USSR and, of course, was vaccinated against all diseases. But in the near-perestroika years, when information appeared in the press that vaccinations were harmful and had a bad effect on children, my mother categorically forbade revaccination. Therefore, I did not have all the vaccinations on the calendar. And when entering the university, serious problems arose, I still had to put them down.

Then my daughter was born and my mother began to fight against vaccinations for her granddaughter. She was a fierce opponent of any injections.

But after weighing the consequences, I still vaccinated children against the most common diseases that can be picked up in any sandbox - hepatitis, tetanus, and so on.

After I almost died of the flu myself, long before the pandemic, we also began to do these vaccinations, and they really saved us. Our family was almost never sick with influenza.

School medic

So my daughter is in solidarity with me in this regard, she also vaccinates children in accordance with the calendar. Only now she categorically refuses to do it at school. When a son brings parental consent forms, she does not return them to school. The reason is that the school nurse is very inattentive. She puts all the forms in one pile and injects the children with vaccinations, not looking whether their parents allowed them or not. The parents of the girl who had a contraindication faced this. It's good that everything worked out.

The nurse is an even greater slob, there is always some kind of mess in the doctor's office, the documentation is poorly maintained. This fact became clear when the children were being prepared for a trip to the camp and it turned out that they did not have any records of vaccinations and preventive examinations that had been carried out in their cards.

And then it became clear that the nurse is constantly having fun in drunken companies in clubs, in nature, in the most obscene form. Then he uploads stories and photos to Instagram. My daughter showed me her page, people surround her the most unreliable by sight. There is a danger that such a "sociable" girl can endow children with social illnesses.

Someone might say that we are too picky, and personal life has nothing to do with work. But I believe that a pediatric physician should be a clean and responsible person. And take care of your reputation at least a little. And if she believes that drunken orgies are something that visitors to her page will envy, then this speaks volumes.

That is why we do vaccinations for children in the clinic in accordance with the calendar. And this is our right.
