I thought that a built-in vacuum cleaner is a luxury, but it turned out that many people put it now. I thought: do I need this system in my house?
Personally, I still remember how, as a child, my mother sent me outside to shake out a dusty bag from our round vacuum cleaner ("Whirlwind", in my opinion it was called). The process is the same... But this was considered steps "forward", in the process of cleaning (well, compared to a broom). How things have changed 20 years later...
Friends all a big hello. I never thought that I would think about the process of cleaning my house (when i live there) while still under construction.
But this Internet, everything throws me new ideas for reflection, which I had never thought about before.
Among all engineering systems in the house (electrical, heating, plumbing), it turns out there is another one, as it always seemed to me, from the category of fantasy.
Central vacuum system.
When earlier in some movie, I saw that the maid plugs the hose into the socket in the wall and vacuums the house, I could not even imagine that this is possible in our real life...
And now I stumble upon information that a system that allows you to clean in this way is quite real, and even I can put one in my house.
The built-in vacuum cleaner essentially has two components.
β Direct installation itself. Those. a vacuum cleaner(only much more powerful than household), which is placed somewhere in the technical room.
β And a system of piping distributed throughout the house, which has special outlets (pneumatic inlets), to which a cleaning hose is connected, and cleaning is carried out.
β As a result, we get silence during the process, air outlet from the vacuum cleaner to the street (dust does not inflates back into the room), and convenience (no need to drag the vacuum cleaner around the house and get confused in wires.
And most importantly - it's all quite affordable.
I put everything on myself...
- Of course, it is problematic to install this system in a finished house or apartment. But itβs quite realistic for me to do everything at the construction stage.
- The pipelines themselves cost a little more than sewer or ventilation pipes.
- The only thing that is not cheap is the power plant itself. Units cost around 100,000 rubles (+/-, depending on power). Although on the scale of construction, it seems to me not sky-high.
At the same time, there are options for "collecting", as I like π...
I saw examples of how the cheapest sewer pipes are used for the system, and the vacuum cleaner itself is installed as an ordinary construction vacuum cleaner, finalizing the exits to the street.
It remains only to decide: do I need it at all ???
- My house is small, which means there will be no global cleaning volumes, and big inconveniences.
- Although with a built-in vacuum cleaner, everything can be made even easier...
So I don't know what decision to make. Again, without knowing all the nuances and subtleties of installation, and further use, it is difficult to make a final decision.
