After repair or relocation, in every house there are many hard-to-identify parts, the use of which is difficult to find, and it is a pity to throw it away. Assemble a stylish lamp in the loft style from them. For this, any pipe cuttings left after repair, flexible tubes, fasteners are suitable, you will definitely need a lighting element. A half brick or a figured piece of paving slabs is suitable as a stand. And don't forget the electrical plug.

The set shown in the photo consists of a telescopic tube from a vacuum cleaner with a mount, flexible a water pipe, a piece of paving slabs, a compact street spotlight, a bolt with a nut, gaskets and washers, electrical tape. All items can be replaced with similar ones in configuration or appearance.

Making a stable base

On a piece of brick that will serve as a stand, you need to drill a hole, the diameter of which will allow you to fix the end of the metal tube. For the convenience of drilling, it is necessary to moisten the working surface with water from time to time. The depth of the hole must be at least 4 cm.

After drilling, the stand must be dried well. If the pipe enters the hole freely and dangles slightly, increase its diameter with electrical tape, if the hole is smaller than the diameter of the pipe, slightly cut and bend the pipe.

Preparation of support parts and wiring

In the mount that will be used to fix the lantern to the pipe, drill a hole corresponding to the diameter of the bolt. Another hole must be drilled at the bottom of the pipe, about 6 cm from the edge.

A long wire that will provide power to the lamp must be pulled through the bottom hole in the pipe to its upper edge, pull the same reason through a flexible water tube and connect it to the lighting element.

Connecting and fixing parts

To attach to the lamp, you need to release its wire from insulation and cut off the unnecessary yellow one, which was connected to ground.

You need to remove the decorative front panel from the spotlight, and dragging the wires into the internal cavity, connect them there. At the same time, the flexible tube is fixed on the spotlight housing. After completing the work, you need to return the front panel of the spotlight to its original place.

The final step will be fixing the spotlight on the bracket. To do this, with a bolt, using washers and gaskets if necessary, we fix the spotlight to the drilled hole in the mount.

With the correct placement of all the parts, you just need to tighten the electrical wire, and all the parts will fall into place by themselves. The wire from the spotlight will pass into a flexible tube, the end of which will descend into a rigid metal pipe. The tube will be fixed on a brick stand. In this case, the head of the lamp will move freely in any direction, allowing you to set the nature of the lighting.

The finished lamp will fit perfectly not only in the garage, but also in a loft-style apartment, its high-tech look will delight you and your guests for a long time to come. And only you will know that the price of a modern track lamp differs from the market one.
