In Russia, the production of printed circuit boards completely from domestic materials and raw materials for the space industry has begun
Representatives of the company "Russian Space Systems" (part of the state corporation "Roscosmos") made a statement that a competence center was created for the creation and production of its own printed circuit boards entirely from Russian components and raw materials. As you know, multilayer boards with a high density of topology and assembly are the main component of the electronic equipment of all rocket and space technology.
And by this we mean not only satellites, but also telecommunications devices, navigation modules, etc. space and ground-based equipment.
Recently, Russian experts have noted a decline in the quality of supplied raw materials and components from foreign partners. Yes, from a formal point of view, the supplied parts corresponded to the declared parameters, but after being installed on the products, they rapidly lost their functional properties. They tried to solve the problem with declining quality, but nothing happened in the end.
Therefore, it was decided to launch its own production entirely from domestic components and raw materials.
And now a closed production and technological complex with all the necessary equipment has been created in Moscow. Already installed capacities will be enough to fully meet the needs of the Russian space industry in high quality printed circuit boards.
Well, this is indeed very positive news, which shows that Russia may well be completely technologically independent of foreign partners, you should really want it and invest in the creation of capacities on the territory of your own states.
We will follow the further development of the enterprise and it is quite likely that in the not so distant future the Russian Federation will be 100% capable of meet their demand for printed circuit boards not only in the space industry, but also in the civil industry through production at their own plants from domestic raw materials.
