China has plans to open its orbital station to tourists
The Celestial Empire said that they are considering the possibility of developing space tourism in their country. And for this, it is proposed to open access for ordinary Chinese to their new national station Tiangong. This was told by the first Chinese astronaut Yang Liwei, who went into space in 2003.
Space tourism will be developed in China
The space industry is developing by leaps and bounds literally all over the world and it is not surprising that there is a demand for tourist visits to space. And as you know, according to the laws of the market - demand creates supply.
Chief Designer of China Manned Flight Program Ch. Jianping said that from a purely technical point of view, there are no obstacles to the use of the Tiangong station as a tourist site. Also used manned ships of the Shenzhou series are quite suitable for delivering tourists to the station.
But for now, no one will send tourists to the Chinese national orbital station. After all, it is under construction, and only in this year 2022, the Celestial Empire plans to implement six missions to the station.
So, according to the plan, two new scientific modules should be put into orbit and attached to the station, two cargo ships and implemented two manned launches, in which Shenzhou-14 ships will be used, as well as "Shenzhou-15".
I would also like to note that already now Chinese specialists are actively developing their own reusable rocket and new spacious spacecraft.
It is likely that in the near future China will create its own spacecraft with a capacity of up to 7 people, and in combination with a reusable rocket, this will be a serious help in the development of the national space tourism.
Well, given how seriously China has taken the development of the space industry as a whole (its own rovers, studying far side of the Moon and plans to build a lunar base), for some reason it is believed that space tourism will be developed in very compressed terms.
We will follow the Chinese developments and their testing.
