• Extra - a perfectly smooth surface without any defects, elegant texture, no knots and cracks at all.

Even when we are dealing with high-quality Siberian larch Garantwood, floorings from boards of the Extra and Economy varieties, in the final analysis, noticeably differ in quality. It is only at this stage that it becomes clear to some people why there is such a difference in the price of these materials. Although in terms of aesthetics, the floor from the Economy board may not impress, but due to the presence in larch gum, it will not be covered with mold and fungus, which means it will not rot, and this, you see, is not unimportant.

It is also important to take into account the moisture content of the board, which at the time of purchase can be 14%, but at the time of laying it should not exceed 8%. Otherwise, even with the best quality of larch, due to boards that are not properly dried and not rested, with a floor unexpected problems will arise, such as longitudinal or transverse warping, which will later lead to the formation cracks.

Before laying the boards, the surface is carefully leveled. Do not neglect the ventilation under the floor, the lack of which significantly affects the microclimate in the room and often causes constant high humidity in the room. Installation of the board is carried out on logs, pre-laid plywood or on old floorboards.
