The first patent for a perpetual motion machine was officially issued in Russia

For more than one hundred years, enthusiasts around the world have been trying to create the so-called eternal engine, and for more than a dozen years such “kulibins” have been storming patent offices to patent their "invention".

But all this time, such developers were fundamentally ignored, but not this time. Rospatent issued the first document for a perpetual motion machine. And that's what we're talking about today.

A perpetual motion machine is a utopia that must violate the laws of thermodynamics in order to work.

So, the first patent for a perpetual motion machine was obtained in Russia back in August 2020 (according to Gazeta.ru) for the so-called “rotary inertial engine”.

So in the description of the application it is indicated that this engine “uses for its operation an environmentally friendly renewable the energy of the inertial force of the centripetal acceleration of the fluid, which rotates with the same angular velocity as the motor rotor speed."

So, anyone who remembers a school physics course will already understand the whole inconsistency of this description. But those who accepted this application were not much embarrassed by the pseudoscientific explanation of the principle of the invention.

Well, Rosstat explained the acceptance and registration of this application by the absence of contradictions to bureaucratic rules. After all, within the framework of the examination of a patent, it is not provided for checking the performance of the product. And most importantly, that the documents contain all the necessary documentation to reproduce the installation.

In addition, the application is not required to comply with any scientific principles. According to the "author" of the invention, the process of its registration did not go smoothly (apparently, the responsible persons still resisted this), but, most likely, they did not find a justification for the refusal and nevertheless registered patent.

But the most curious thing is that the creator of the “perpetual motion machine” does not even attempt to explain on the basis of what physical laws his device functions. It is stated that the device operates due to the "inexhaustible potential energy of the inertial pressure of the liquid medium."

Simply put, this is another version of the "infinitely" rotating flywheel, only liquid. And structurally, the invention resembles a conventional fluid coupling, which is very widely used, for example, in torque converters of automatic transmissions. But there is no “eternal” movement in them at all.

Well, literate people will certainly understand that the price of such an invention (albeit patented) is zero. And such an inventor can only influence a poorly educated public.

So love and learn physics, and such inventions will only cause you a smile and no real interest.
