Thanks to a simple trick, I no longer spend money on razors, I use one. I share a simple method of sharpening using jeans

The constant expense of razors and razor cartridges can piss anyone off. This is very expensive, especially for those who shave 2 times a day. For my razor, on average, one cassette costs about 400 rubles, and I change it quite often. So I found a very easy way to sharpen a razor and now I'm saving a really big amount. I hasten to share my trick with you.

What will be required

And we need only two things that are in every home. This is denim (so never throw away old jeans, leave at least a small piece) and some dense bar. I use an old foil, plastic bag or paper towel roll. The main thing is that it should be slightly narrower than a razor. And dense enough to withstand pressure and not wrinkle. By the way, you can also use work jeans that you continue to wear - we only need the inside and, in principle, the razor will not do anything to them.

Sharpening process

We insert a bar or sleeve inside the jeans. This is necessary so that the sides of the razor do not take part in grinding the blades. This will ruin the razor itself, and may damage the jeans. And if you continue to wear them, then this is extremely important.

It is better to use the reverse side of the fabric - it is usually rougher than the outer one and the process will be faster. But depending on the density of your jeans, it is better to decide for yourself which part is more suitable.

And now, with movements in the opposite direction, we begin to grind the surface. That is, not the way you usually shave, but vice versa. In order to sharpen a razor, you need to make 100-150 strokes. I always do "portions" of 50 movements in one direction, then 50 in the other direction. This is necessary so that the pile does not gather and become thinner. Or moving on different parts of the denim.

The most important thing is that the blades move in the opposite direction! Otherwise, you just completely blunt them.

After such a procedure, the razor really shaves like new! She gets a shine, she becomes very sharp, and you really save your money. Therefore, be sure to take my advice and try it yourself, easily and quickly sharpen your old razor, spending a few minutes of your time. Use this method with pleasure!
