Nagar was gone. A simple trick with a tablet and an iron that in one fell swoop allows you to get rid of any dirt on the sole of the iron
An iron is without a doubt one of the most useful things in the house. By purchasing such a device, everyone expects that it will last a long time and without breakdowns. But after a month of use, a coating appears on the sole, which sticks to the fabric and spoils things. It also emits an unpleasant "stale" smell. Every housewife at least once in her life faced with such a problem. But do not rush to get a new iron, because there is a very easy way to remove an annoying stain. And I wanted to share one of those ways with you. To do this, you just need to get paracetamol tablets from the medicine cabinet and then follow my instructions.
We'll need:
- dry rag or napkin;
- tweezers;
- paracetamol.
Instruction:
- Heat the iron and break the paracetamol tablet into two pieces. So it will work much more efficiently.
- After the iron has heated up, take half of the tablet with tweezers and rub the stuck part of the fabric with slow circular motions. You will immediately see how the iron will begin to dissolve the tablet, turning it and soot into a semi-liquid mass.
- Gently remove the remnants of the fabric with a dry cloth and, if necessary, repeat the procedure again.
- After that, you can use the steam function in order to get rid of small particles of fabric that may have got into the holes. Don't forget to wipe the iron again with a dry cloth.
But this problem should not be ignored. Perhaps your iron has a malfunction, or you are using it incorrectly.
Reasons for the formation of limescale on the iron:
- Wrong choice of temperature mode;
- Contact of the iron with iron / plastic fasteners and zippers on clothes;
- The iron was for a long time with the sole down in the same place in working order;
- Temperature sensor failure.
If the problem cannot be fixed on your own, contact a specialist.
Very often, clothing labels indicate how to iron it correctly, at what temperature and with what humidity. In order to prevent such an incident from happening next time, you must regularly clean the soleplate of the iron and follow all the rules for use.
