Why dry tips of the leaves have indoor plants: measures to combat

Almost in every apartment, in every home sills are decorated with lots of green and flowering houseplants. This favorable effect on the room climate, purify the air and fills it with oxygen, and pleases the inhabitants and guests of the eye.

Both ordinary and exotic species of domestic crops are in need of proper care. But unfortunately, it happens that minor changes or other factors negatively affect the livelihoods of pets.

This is manifested primarily desiccation and yellowing of the leaves of plants, which spoils their appearance, and even threatened with death.

So dry ends houseplants cause some deviation from the proper care, namely:

- hardness of water;

- insufficiently humidified air;

- excessive soil moisture;

- the lack of soil moisture;

- lack or excess ambient light;

- Violations of the air temperature regime;

- shortage of fertilizers;

- pests and diseases.

To determine the cause of the need to conduct a thorough inspection of all parts of the plant - the state of the stem, the soil, the inside of the leaf. If you can quickly figure out what the root of all evil, it is safe to proceed to correct deficiencies.

For example, if the soil has dried out too much, it is necessary to moisten it well and loosen for better access of air to the root system. If, on the contrary too much moisture, then give it to dry, and to cancel watering for a while.

In winter, the room humidity decreases, due to the heat. In this connection, you can use a humidifier or even just put on the window sill with a bowl of water plants. It's a little increase moisture and will not be superfluous.

The problem is more difficult, if the plant detected pests or disease. An urgent need to isolate the pot at the same time from the other, to prevent infection. Well wipe the leaves with soapy water.
