Colorado beetles almost was not. My way of working

I write a kind of report. In the spring, I published an article about getting rid of Colorado beetles using potassium permanganate. Under that article is written so many comments that this is not possible, and I allegedly deceiving his readers. There just was not then insults addressed to me. But today I decided to write to all that I am not afraid to remind, because from personal experience repeatedly convinced that the method works. This year was no exception.

The comments in the spring, I remember, wrote and those who promised to try and write a review in the autumn. So, maybe someone forgot to remind and ask to respond those who have been very busy in the summer holiday's job and did not go to our channel.

Let me remind the readers and new subscribers who have not read the article spring. I potatoes just before planting soaked in slightly pink solution of potassium permanganate for 24 hours. The solution was made weak, so as not to burn the kidney, but only disinfect and some even soak the tubers. After soaking planted directly without drying in the sun or the wind, or even by rinsing in water.

On my site was virtually no Colorado beetles. No, very rarely appeared only adults apparently flew from somewhere. But I have not watched the larvae on the tops never though very carefully eyed periodically. Seeing the rare instances of adult beetles, I quickly collected and disposed of. Although now I think that they could not stay on my site, and then fly off in search of the garden where the growing tops of the untreated potatoes.

You may say that that's the same there? But what was once before the application of potassium permanganate, and now - it's like heaven and earth. The appearance of rare vagrant adults, I do not even think they were on my site, as these can in principle be counted easily and in the summer a handful of one hand to fit. So again, I recommend to everyone for next year in the spring definitely try to plant potatoes, pre-soaked in potassium permanganate, as I described (article on spring this link), And the rest of the summer bugs without using any other chemicals.
