Before you make such strange injections here, esteemed on the Internet that the scientists of the USSR tried this method, starting from 1934. The results were good, alcohol was not felt in the ripe fruit, and small tomatoes grow first and then blushed, and it should be noted that the blush evenly.

I took a syringe with a very thin needle and right in the center of the tomato inject half a cube of vodka. They said that it is possible and in a little, too, but I just pricked medium and larger, to have matured to the table. Ripe and eaten. True, the first non-drinking guests were afraid to try, thinking that they could get drunk. But alcohol does not feel and tomatoes do not differ from the usual, ripened naturally.

Vodka watered the bushes did not try, I can not say whether it can help in speeding up the ripening of fruits.

This life hacking will be useful for those who want to fit a specific date ripening tomatoes. But I do not know how it can affect the keeping quality (although they say good) and canning for the winter. I did not try these tomatoes to marinate. I still prefer the natural ripening.
