Motion sensor - this is a great device that will use the lighting without further ado, for example, corridor so while still saving, because it will turn off lights after a set time (if no one in the corridor will be). Only connect and configure it must be right, let's talk about it.

In this article I will connect and check on the performance of the brand sensor MJJC with viewing angle in 180 degrees and the stated range in sensitivity 12 meters. This sensor was acquired on Aliekspress (well, where else). And now to business.

Thus, the sensor is energized by the two wires of the network phase L- (mine brown conductor) and N - zero (blue line). A third wire (red L1), leaving the sensor is mounted with a phase conductor connected to the lamp.

Note. I did not have a cable with brown-blue-red coloring, so I did the following: used VVG 3 * 1,5 white, blue and yellow (with green stripe) coloring to increase the output from the sensor and calmly perform the installation in junction box. I connected the wires by soldering with subsequent isolation by means of shrinking. Switching phase now I have become yellow lived with a green stripe (red tape).

Connection will be as follows: zero strands (blue wires) are connected to a common point:

Setting the motion sensor

The next important step is the correct sensor setting, because you do not want to he reacted too late or too early to the contrary, or when there was a light and so light.

Sensor adjustment is carried out by special potentiometers responsible for:

Setting the time

This setting is set, depending on how quickly you leave the place, lit by the sensor. For example, if the sensor is standing near the front door, then 2-3 minutes would be enough to get the keys, open the door and go into the room.

Actuation of the light level sensor «LUX»

With this setting, you set the ambient light threshold at which the sensor will react to the movement in the zone of sensitivity. In other words with this setting you set when it begins to turn on lights.

Sensitivity adjustment «SENS» Sensor

If, after mounting the sensor responds not only to you but also to pets, it is necessary to reduce sensitivity «SENS» sensor controller to acceptable limits (sensitivity level is selected solely empirically).

Note. If you install and set up the sensor in the winter, when the onset of summer, you will most likely have to make the setting again.

Wiring together with switch

Sometimes there are situations that the light should be lit in not depending on whether there is in the deployment zone the person or not, for example, you expect the guests and especially the lights before the court that it was easier to find your house.

In this case, you may well be able to combine in one pattern and a motion sensor and a conventional switch, that's the way the scheme itself:
