Repairs "from scratch"

Here he comes - the moment when he received the keys to a new apartment! Waiting is over and it's time to make a reality of all ideas taken from hundreds of sites you've visited.

This is not my first own apartment, but this repair done only in "secondary." Actually so we decided to buy an apartment in new building - no longer had the desire to correct the mistakes of others and ill-considered repair.

The apartment we bought when the house has already been built, but there was not even interior walls. Therefore, after examining a large room of 90 squares, we just about decided to redevelop. Assuring the modified plan in architecture, we got down to business.

First, put together separate bathroom, which turned out quite roomy.

Then, combined kitchen with a living room, removed a narrow corridor and extra wall. The result was a large kitchen-dining room with a dining area instead of the balcony.

Further, part of the hall was given to the dressing room with access from the bedroom - an old dream come true of a spacious dressing room.

More talk about repairs in the nursery. According to the project its area of ​​almost 13 square meters, not so much, but instead wanted the maximum. Photo before - looked like the bathroom right after receiving the keys.

Predchistovaya work was not very clean. It had a lot of work. Replaced on the brand of metal and plastic window Rehau (good quality plastic). We started with the leveling of floors and walls, which took 4-5 bags of plaster. On one wall decided to stick Komar wallpapers Winnie the Pooh and were very pleased!

By the wallpaper once the bundle includes a special glue. The only negative - in the joints slightly converged figure, but if you do not look closely, it is not evident. On the remaining walls of the white non-woven wallpaper base. Long studied the question of their environmental impact and have decided that they will be the best option.

The ceiling is made of white stretch beforehand brought eight spot LED lamps. Where there will be a bed, we decided in advance, so the room installed bushing switches. Now, turn off and turn on the lights can be both at the entrance to the room and did not get out of bed. Strongly recommend this solution!

Regarding flooring dispute was not, like good German firm Classen laminate and nothing else. Its fairly easy to assemble and disassemble, the joints do not differ from the temperature difference, which was a big problem for us in the old apartment with a floor heating. To buy domestic laminate 33 class, which in a few months after the installation was covered in chips and went to pieces when the heating is switched on. So here we advise not to save.
