Concept project our holiday home based on the principles of economy and speed of construction. In this respect, the ideal solution for roofing is metal, and the facade we decided to sheathe vinyl siding. The only assumption we made in the design of the facade, it abandoned vinyl additional elements for the design of corners and window openings, and replaced them with colored planed board.

Roof

After warming the roof and the installation of the membrane, we mounted the bars 45 × 45 mm, providing ventzazor, bars are mounted on the nails on the entire length of the rafters. Further on the bars performed from lathing boards 25 × 250 mm, with 350 mm pitch axis boards.

Speed ​​of work with metal tile is dictated by the fact that there is no need to carry out a solid foundation under it. tile sheets are pre-ordered in the size of the roof, so there is no need to carry out work on its fit and trim at the construction site, at least on our simple roof. In addition, the large format sheets in combination with the low weight allows you to perform roofing work in a very short time.

The self-assembly of metal is no big deal, and in this respect there is a mass of instructions.

It is important to remember that the tile is attached to the crate with special roofing screws with rubber O-ring.

After all the sheets have been installed, we have established a horse of the same color as the metal.

We then proceeded to finish the eaves and gable overhangs and eaves of the roof binder.

Windshields and eaves we made from pre-painted, dry planed boards 20h140 mm trim produced in a manner that is called the Finnish ladder.

Roof overhangs, too, hemming the same board 20h140 mm. Board stuffed with a gap of 10 mm necessary for the ventilation of the roof space.

Siding

The advantage of the siding is that it is relatively inexpensive, does not require any serious care of his simply wash, and can be easily mounted in a helmet that meets our concept.
For attaching vinyl siding, there are two types of subsystems of wood and metal. Their main difference from each other in that the metal system is used on uneven walls. Using it is convenient to neutralize the curvature of the walls and make installation.

We used in the construction of a calibrated planed board, so the geometry of our house does not require corrective actions.

Installing vinyl siding begins with a starting strip. Mounting vinyl panels is carried out on galvanized screws.

The fact is that the siding under the influence of temperature changes its linear dimensions - this is one of its characteristics. If every fixture is firmly clamped, the panel will begin to deform and change its geometry, and the wall will the so-called "wave".

Of additional elements of vinyl siding we have left only the start and finish trims, corner also finishing and finishing elements of windows made board 20h140 mm prepainted brown Colour. This finish is wider than the full-time and looks presentable.

Window

A total of seven windows of our house, three of them - a large, panoramic and one keystone. All the windows are fixed, they have to metal hangers with seam foaming. Next begin the installation. Mount the temporary stops to fix the window in the opening level and establishes a temporary backing in order to provide space for foam seam.

Next, fix the window in the opening with screws, unscrew the time stops and instead put a quarter.
