Kitchen apron: familiar classics or modern materials

Kitchen - a central place in our apartment: in the morning we are going here for breakfast, evening together preparing dinner. So when it came time to choose a kitchen apron, I decided that the details in this matter no kitchen should be perfect.

The first thing that had to choose - material. The modern market offers a variety of options, which are not easy to understand. But we will try! Thus, the basic materials that are offered to me in the selection process:

- A natural stone. Apron stone attracts with its stylish design and durability, but may discourage high cost of material, laying the complexity and vagaries in operation.

- Glass. Among the advantages of this material is possible to highlight the environmentally friendly, moisture-resistant, hygienic, and color variety. However, there are drawbacks: high cost and relatively time-consuming installation process.

- Ceramic tile. This is perhaps the most traditional option. Its advantages include a variety of designs - everyone can find embodiment like, easy maintenance and high resistance to humidity and temperatures. This apron will serve you for a long time, but for a beautiful tile will have to work: the walls must be smooth, and the master - diligent.

- Plastic panels. The first thing you notice - the reasonable price. On this parameter the plastic coating is the clear leader. The panels are easy to install, with the installation process, you can cope on their own. On the downside we put a little life and the fact that plastic can hardly be called environmentally friendly material.

The main requirements to the apron for our kitchen are: durability, practicality, ease of maintenance, as well as affordable price. After discussing the proposed options, the family council we decided to stop at a ceramic tile. Especially because our kitchen is designed in a classical style with a mosaic tile patterns perfectly fit into the interior.

Now, when the renovated almost a year, I know that this decision was correct: our apron is easy to clean, it is excellent in operation and look happy all the family!
