It will be an alternative to manure, and virtually the organic fertilizer will be free, because is made from the leaves of trees.

How to make compost

Now the period of leaf fall, so a lack of "good" can not say. Leaf fully in the nearby woods and gardens. I always apply them to good use, for example, I bring the compost heap in the garden. But so many of them have a lot of what I'm doing extra compost in large garbage bags. Foliage is different - from the garden and woods. The main thing is that there was no evidence of the disease, that is only beautiful leaves, free of mold and rot. Such compost I use as mulch for shrubs, flowers and flower beds.

Step-by-step instruction

1. Fill a bag with wet leaves 15-20 cm. Top pour a layer of humus thickness of about 5-6 cm.

2. Next spilling ash, which will act as a deoxidizer. Then goes the layer moist mown lawn (or any other seedless) grass. To this layer add kitchen waste plant. You can add small sprigs. To speed up the decomposition process can be used EM-inflammatory drugs (beneficial soil bacteria).

3. Make a hole in a garbage bag for air circulation.

Thus, I have enough bags of 5-6. I put them on each other, to the fence under the awning on the sunny side. Spring can shed water each bag to wet, and thereby accelerate the composting process.

By the end of next summer, the compost will be ready.
