Spreading the wall for convenient, new hall

It so happened that the hall had to be repaired, not least, as it should be, and in the middle of the repair of the whole apartment. This room has one wall adjacent to the bedroom, the entrance to which is located opposite the entrance door. It's not very convenient, as occasional guests have the opportunity again to see not inadvertently tucked the bed or a small mess. The very wide hallway is not too big - just 120 cm. It was decided to increase this figure of at least a 15-20 centimeters by dismantling the walls which still planned to demolish. Entrance to the bedroom, it was decided to transfer and make the middle of the wall.

The wall is normal, not a supporting structure, so clean it was not hard and fast. The space got a very spacious, even had not thought to build the wall again, leaving the whole room, and reassign its use as a living room.

 But the rooms we have only two, and need just a couple of rooms with separate doors, where you can get comfortable and sleep.

The construction of a new wall.

Drywall built a new wall at 5cm profile with a passage in the middle of a width of 1.20 cm. Installed two doors 60 cm, turned spacious and free. On the door, there are little windows with glass inserts, which give light to fall out of the room into the hallway during the day.

When the doors are fully open, the space of the hall becomes absolutely sufficient. Now you can wear a robe, calmly waving his hands to do, not afraid to hit an elbow or a person standing nearby.

On the whole room 3 bulbs seemed to be enough, but because of the color of the walls and the floor is a bit darker than I would like.

Wallpaper chosen by the degree of density, durability, coloring and width.

We managed to find the perfect wallpaper, vinyl on non-woven backing. Meter width, the right color, and yet they convey the fabric structure - corduroy or jacquard, very pleasant to the touch and look nice on the wall.

Ceiling wallpaper taken from the remains, we had just 5,5metrov. Bought a balance of 8 meters came cheaper because it was the last roll showpiece, with the damaged edge at the beginning of the roll.

Ceiling moldings are painted with latex paint, with the addition of a coral color scheme. Slopes in the doorways between the kitchen and the hallway, and in the hall were painted, too.
