1. Preparation of the soil.
The soil should already be fertilized with organic preceding cultures.
Before garlic plant under winter planting for future planting site siderate (mustard). In early October, I instilled mustard greens ground in the soil with ash (1 cup per 1 sq. m), and the overlay film to the ground was dry, and in mid-October already planting garlic cloves (I live in the middle lane, in the south of the Pskov region).
2. How to plant garlic.
On landing I choose only large cloves. I make grooves, the distance between rows - 25-30 cm. The beds do not process any means: either copper sulfate or potassium permanganate. Only handle the garlic cloves with potassium permanganate.
Lune shed water. Planted garlic, the distance between the teeth - 10-15 cm, to a depth of three cloves (if you have a cold winter, the clove can peg push deeper) and covered with earth. Top pour leaf litter or grass clippings. The remaining small garlic cloves (do not throw away!) I plant at the end of the beds on the greens. Film flower bed do not cover.
