In previous articles I have talked about laying communications necessary for the normal operation of a bathroom. All the preparatory work has been completed, now it's time to do just finishing the walls and ceiling.

There are different ways of installation PVC panels to the wall. The first and easiest - frameless, when the panels are attached directly to the surface. This method requires a perfectly flat surface and is used mainly in the ceiling of plywood or OSB-board. In our case, a brick wall, so it is necessary to build a framework before installing the panels to which they are attached. The frame can be wooden or made of aluminum profile. The choice fell on the tree, so the installation of the panels on the material much easier. I will use timber 25h40mm.

First of all, I marked out a place on the wall where will be fixed bars. On many construction forums recommend installing them in increments 50-80sm. In my experience, the closer they are located to each other, the stronger will be the wall. Molded PVC very soft and brittle material which is easily "pressed" by clicking. Therefore, if we want to get an elastic wall, it is better not to save on the bars.

The bars are fixed horizontally to the wall using dowels and screws. Be sure to place one timber as close as possible to the floor, and one at the height of false ceiling. I also installed a number of bars on the estimated level of the joint bathtubs and walls, in order to give this place a strength, as well as at the level of the top of the box lid. In the niche occupied by the bath, below this level, I do not attach the bars, because the installation of the panels there is inexpedient.

It should also be remembered that directly on the PVC panels it is impossible to fix any home furnishings such as shelves or hooks. Under each seat for this attachment, you must first install the bars. In my case, this is the place for the air vents, curtain curtain bath, a mirror and a supporting shelf, toilet paper holder.

Ceiling panels around the room will be based on the already laid down wall bars, so you need only add a couple of bars in the middle, perpendicularly to the panels themselves. Lower the bars to the desired height easily by using hangers.

The next stage - the bath apron. They sounded the desired height, attach one board horizontally. CREPLA it directly to existing bars. The same is done at floor level. Thus, I get a closed "box" under the bath.

There was only a mounting box. I start with the horizontal. Fasten a new timber to the already established, ie, the wall and apron bath. To add structural strength of a pair of vertical supports, which are fastened to the floor with corners.

In the box and apron bath, where it is needed, add additional bars for securing hatches, grilles and fittings for a washing machine. The frame is ready, you can proceed to the wall covering panels.
