What sprouts flowers should definitely plant in December to land in the spring in the garden without any problem
Like many growers, I got used to autumn work in the garden, stretched to the end of October. And the fact that in the early spring, when even do not dream about the warm sun, it's time to take up the seedlings.
But I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that there are flowers that can grow a lot easier if the seedlings to plant them in the dead of winter - in December!
During this time they have time to get stronger, without any problems transferred Spring planting in the garden, and of course - will soon delight gorgeous blooms.
Lavender
In the garden it is unpretentious, but at home in need of stratification - seed extract at a certain temperature in order to increase their germination rate and develop vitality.
To plan failed, mid-late December decompose seeds on the ground surface at a distance of 2 cm from one another and sprinkle a soil layer of 3 mm. Remove the pan from the seeds under cover and send in the refrigerator for 45 days.
Then, somewhere in the early to mid-February, will land the seeds of a universal nutritious and loose substrate, not necessarily in a deep drawer - because lavender grow long powerful roots.
Lavender needs between 15 to 21 degrees and is not watered and sprayed with the primer.
Primrose
Begin to engage her seedlings in late December, highlighting the primrose light soil with drainage (suitable perlite). Do not bury the seeds - simply pressed into the ground.
For germination they need in the greenhouse effect, which is covered with container - package or glass (clean and cover with the appearance of the first leaves).
Prerequisite care of seedlings, to be able to plant it in early May, is it two-three times a day dive.
eustoma
From the moment of emergence to flowering Irish Rose held not less than 5 months, so it is reasonable to sow its seeds in early December.
Prepare a well-moistened mixture of sand, peat and perlite. As with primrose - gently press the seed into the soil and keep a transparent shelter in bright light. Eustoma needs it the first 2 months.
And of course - do not forget to ventilate the seedlings once in 3-7 days. Maintain the optimum temperature is 20-25 degrees.
In conclusion I would add that for successful seedling already since December named plants need light.
A lot of light, so do not do without fitolampy. This is a good investment - are allowed to grow healthy, strong, beautiful flowers.
